Our first official date at the Idaho Steelhead's game; I told Casey that I really loved hockey and so he took me to one of my first Steelhead games. To this day, we love watching hockey games together.

New Year's Eve: Casey and I found a karaoke place in downtown Boise and we got to sing some of my all-time favorite duets. Officially became a couple on December 14th, 2021.

Our first Easter together and I was just about to go to the Philippines for the first time with Wipe Every Tear and help reach women in the sex trade. This was the first time we would be really long-distance and I was worried we wouldn't communicate well. Casey made sure to always check my location and we would start/end our days saying "good morning" and "good night" to each other.

Our first wedding together celebrating my bridesmaid Cat and her husband, Michael. It was such an honor and joy to stand by Catherine's side and to now have her stand with me on our big day!

Our first summer together; we went to the Western Idaho Fair and it's since then been one of our favorite seasonal traditions in Idaho.

Our first fall together. We both love all that the autumn season brings and it honestly played a part in why we chose early fall for our wedding day.

One of my (Nikki) favorite things has been growing faithfully together. Ministry was such a big part of my heart for the first two years since I moved to Idaho and so to have Casey by my side through so many seasons, travels, and time zones has had a big impact on us both. Casey's support and his heart has always been aligned with mine in terms of who we want to be for each other and our family.

First trip/Thanksgiving together. This was the first time I'd (Nikki) brought home for the holiday. We got to walk around Vail village together and Casey got to see the Smith stomping grounds for our family.

Our first Christmas together. This was my (Nikki) first year missing out on Christmas with my family back in Colorado and Casey was determined to make it a memorable. We went ornament shopping and had hot cocoa on Christmas morning together.
